Tile Round Swimming
Black tile joints in a pool.?

I have a swimming pool 8mx4m below ground and in recent years a localized collection of black-led out some of the grout joints between tiles. This year has been particularly bad, presumably due to wetter weather and now we have a lot blackened joint. I assumed that it was an accumulation of algae, but we use triple strength pills throughout the year, containing algae against. I tried chrystals concentrated chlorine and hard brushing but to no avail. Can you advise how to eliminate this blackening?

Check with a store pool chemicals are not connected to a pool service. They can advise. Take a wet shave you. No matter what it sounds like there will be great amount of elbow grease involved. Good luck.
