Paradise Round Swimming

The beaches are not quite at the level of the best beaches in Sardinia but still beautiful and among the best beaches in northern Italy.

After lots lying on the sand and swim in the sea – The detailed investigation for sure. My family and I have produced our Venice Beach Guide and beaches are the beaches appear to believe they are the best beaches in the Veneto.

Playa Rosolina

This beach has more than 8 kilometers long, clean and fine sand. Due to size of the beach is rarely crowded except for August and weekends in July. This is not only a long beach, but more than 100 meters wide.

You will have to endure the regimented rows of umbrellas, but because of the size of the beach is bearable. There is much to do with most hotels offer swimming pools and tennis courts. I would suggest rent bikes and explore a bit too. This is just the kind of place I like cycling – nice and flat.

Playa Albarella

Next in Venice Beach Guide Beach is just across the road Rosolina. The beach is located on a private island that is part of a nature reserve.

Albarella island is only five miles long and two kilometers wide and is famous for around two million trees. The name, Albarella means Poplar tree.

The island is private – only for guests staying here and are allowed in this place is really a paradise if you have children – my five year old puts it as number one on the beach.

Alberoni

Alberoni is the last beach of Lido. Lido has a few beaches, but this is my favorite. Not anything spectacular, but certainly a pretty nice beach and free too.

Surprisingly no looks so similar to a landing zone umbrella as so many of the beaches around northern Italy and frankly I am not much in regimented rows of sun loungers and parasols.

The beach is a natural reserve and actually seems a world away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. A great idea if you are feeling energetic hire a bike and explore the island.
