Sand Spa Filter
fill a spa on the ground?

am off my land plaster spa filter and plan to fill it with soil or sand. anything you need to know the extent the drainage and the soil. it is 4 'deep and 8 "in diameter.

If you are left in place, be sure to put some holes on the floor and sides. Otherwise, continue to hold water in the winter and the soil is not stabilized. Depending on where you are on earth I would use all which is readily available, but a fund partially filled with drainage rock drainage award would help perhaps 6 inches and use some organic materials for planting on top. Don `t use clay, as it retains water. Good luck!
